Bohopo strengthens Porto presence with third asset acquisition
March 2025
Bohopo has further expanded its presence in Porto with the acquisition of Project Maison Arya, marking the group’s third asset in the city and reinforcing its commitment to one of Europe’s most dynamic hospitality markets.
The newly acquired property is planned to be transformed into a 22-room boutique hotel, further advancing Bohopo’s strategy of creating distinctive, high-quality hospitality experiences in characterful urban locations across Europe. The acquisition represents another important step in the group’s growth in Porto, where it is building a carefully curated portfolio of boutique hotel assets.
Project Maison Arya also supports Bohopo’s existing pipeline in the city, which includes Project De Janeiro, a 29-room boutique hotel expected to open in Q1 2026, and Project Formosa, a 43-room luxury boutique hotel scheduled for Q1 2027. Together, these projects underline Bohopo’s long-term conviction in Porto and its ambition to play an active role in shaping the city’s evolving hospitality landscape.
As Porto continues to attract growing international demand, Bohopo recognises a strong opportunity to invest in in boutique hotel assets that combine compelling locations, differentiated positioning and long-term value creation.
