Bohopo secures development loan for project Oasis in Porto

Bohopo has secured a development loan from Novo Banco to finance Project Oasis, the development of The Loulou Hotel, a 43-room boutique hotel in the heart of Porto. 

This financing milestone marks an important step forward in bringing the project to life and supports Bohopo’s continued growth across high-potential urban hospitality markets. Set to open in Q2 2027, The Loulou Hotel will further strengthen Bohopo’s presence in Porto and expand its portfolio of centrally located boutique hotels across Europe.  

Porto continues to attract demand from both leisure and business travellers, supported by its rich cultural identity, strong tourism appeal and evolving hospitality landscape. Against this backdrop, The Loulou Hotel reflects Bohopo’s wider strategy of creating value through the development and repositioning of distinctive boutique hotel assets in dynamic European city centres.
